Ain't no Thang: Futurama

This is a post series about various cartoons and animated shows that I enjoy.

*Cracks Knuckles.......regrets as one knuckle is hurt and cracking it made it worse* Great I'm a genius.....Oh I'm typing again.....crud.. act professional....Howdy folks*thinks who says howdy anymore, then realizes I do* So today we will be talking about *pretends to look at list as if I have this stuff planned out* Animated Shows....yeah that sounds good. So anyways I'm sixteen but yeah I still watch cartoons, I mean not like kiddy ones like paw patrol or ones like that. No I'm talking about the classics man Futurama, Family Guy, Scooby-Doo, Samurai Jack, Tom and Jerry, etc.
childhood cartoons

Main focus today though is possibly my favorite *drum roll* bet you're getting tired of these little extra comments I'm putting in huh? too bad....my blog I can do what I want. :P That focus today is on Futurama, personally my favorite cartoon of all time. *sheds tear as he reflects on watching the last episode as it is cancelled now* This is about the adventures of the planet express crew as they are thrown into any and every situation, with a great cast of characters. Best two characters you ask? Bender(a robot) and Zoidberg (a giant doctor lobster) they are the funniest and I love the attitude and funny one liners that the two have. Best episode in my opinion is when they have a bunch of boxes with different parallel universes, it's filled with one liners and hilarious moments. I grew up watching this and have seen every episode so if you have any interest just talk to me about it and I can tell you anything.

Ahhh yes the good ol' times *looks at photo and smiles* In my eyes you are never too old, you don't need to grow up, don't let people take away what you love. I love this cartoon, I will always love this cartoon and I won't anyone take that away from me. Wow look at that this turned into a heartfelt moment for me.......well I guess there's one last thing to say.....See you on the flip side.

Right Quick: True Blues, Black Friday, Week of Greatness

This is a post series about sneaker news and my opinion on it.

*Wakes up from food coma induced from Thanksgiving* What? another post? right now? Okay....... well any whoosies what's going on in the sneaker world you may ask well we have three big announcements. Before I talk about those though, I have to get one thing clear or off my chest, if you are a girl or a guy (I ain't judging a man can do what he wants) expecting to read about heels, boots, pumps, wedges, flats, etc. you have stumbled across the wrong blog. Okay now that the air is clear and half of the readers left.......lets get toooooo it.

True Blues
With the holidays right around the corner and good ol' shoe companies wanting to maximize profits, as does everyone, Jordan has rereleased the Nike Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blues. This means that for the first time since 1988 Jordan has released this shoe, in this colorway. Personally it's a fire looking shoe (for audience who doesn't use the word fire, fire=nice) it will certainly turn heads when you are seen wearing them, I am always a fan of blue and red so this combination of colors really pops. This is a shoe you could definitely pick up for that special person in your life or a family member who is into sneakers, you only have one problem. $220 that's the amount of cash, dollars, dough, bred, stacks, etc. you will be dropping on these, I mean I wanna look fresh and nice but I'm a high schooler I'm on a budget so if you got the cash, I say go for it. (Warning: these are shoes not a phone or car there is no insurance you mess them up, oh well you out $220).

Week of Greatness
So footlocker, ya know one of the biggest sneaker stores in America of course has this promotion they do called the *Dramatic Music* WEEEEEEEK OF GREATNESSSSSS. Basically this is an entire week of shoe releases where they release quote on quote "most premium releases of the year" now in my opinion this is debatable. I have been on the website myself when a shoe has released and they have sold out in 14 minutes and 6 minutes, *disappointed as I was not able to get either pair of shoes, freaking slow wifi shaking my head* any ways these sneakers are......alright at best nothing too amazing.......I mean Yeezy Boost 350 V2, but I don't like Kanye or Kanye's show so get that trash out of my face with your crusty, nasty shoes. Okay to sum it up this is a big week for some people because it is a week straight of releases and kicks off holiday shopping, but in my eyes it wasn't a week of greatness in my eyes. Maybe.......no........okay yeah I'll say it a week of subpar releases.Image result for the week of greatness

Black Friday
Ahhh yes lets wrap this up with a wonderful time of year....I talk of Black Friday of course, with the smell of fighting, mobs, destruction, and of course chaos rising through the air. *Inhales to deeply smell the ensuing chaos at stores* well I don't know if your brave or crazy to go shopping, but either way your not gonna have fun, unless you like madness.......which isn't a bad thing ;) But seriously Y'ALL IS SOME STRAIGHT UP SAVAGES!!!! I mean you see what you did to this store!!!!! (check picture below)

Y'all crazy....this is why we can't have nice things....I mean..I mean who...... Whats wrong with you people bunch of savages, this...this is too much I'm going back into hibernation/food coma man I'll see you on the flip side I gotta get outta here *gets up and stumbles over shoe boxes all over the floor gets up and quickly runs out of door*

Chenzo's Weekend: Nov. 12 - Nov. 13

This is a post series about sports and moments that I enjoy and my opinion on them

First post let's make it a good one am I right!!! Okay....Okay settle down folks *says confidently knowing that no one cares* alright so lets get to it.

This weekend we had a lot of interesting things happen, in the world, but that stuff's not interesting to me so we're gonna skip over all of that and get into what interests me of course. First off if you're new here *says knowing this is first blog post, and no one would know what i'm going to say* you will hear a lot about one thing and one thing only......*drum roll*........USC. Okay so you could say I'm kinda crazy about this college, and I mean everything about it from football all the way to attending the school. BUT!! I can tell you this nothing and I mean nothing will get in the way of me and my favorite thing to watch, that's the USC Trojan football team, the greatest team ever to play on a football field. *knows that players all graduate and the team can never be exactly the same every year* So if you don't know this college football has a ranking system in which they list the top 25 football schools, and this past weekend my USC Trojans who were number 20 in the nation, yes out of 128 division 1 schools, USC is 20. The disrespect of this can't even be explained, but that's a story for another time. Any whoosies, yeah that's right I said "any whoosies" don't judge. So it just so happens that the number 4 team in the nation Washington thought they were hot stuff, HA YOU THOUGHT YAKUM, HOLD THIS L BOY!!! Calm yourself Josh, Calm yourself......... okay we won 26-13 which was the highlight of this weekend because lets just call it and upset. Anyways we are now number 13 in the nation, yeah 13 it's not good enough for me, still disrespectful, and insult to my face!!!!! calm again....calm...*breathes in and out*.......ugh, I'll have to live with it.
Next on the agenda, aka whatever's going on in this mind that races 1000 miles per second, we've got the greatest NFL football team...... and no if you think it's the "Big Red" the door is right over there, please exit in orderly fashion, because you need to meet this team from the great northwest. One name, one team, 12th man strong baby, yeah that's right the Seattle Seahawks. So there's another team people say is "great" *these people think they run the NFL and think they'll win the Superbowl every year, don't be one of these people.* This team is the Patriots lead by a man named Tom Brady and a party hard dude named Gronk, and going in to the weekend had the best record in NFL and then they just so happened to meet the LOB (Legion of Boom) or Seattle's defense and well lets just say..........YAKUM AGAIN, HOLD THIS L TOO BOY!!!! That's right let's just say it was the perfect weekend for this humble Asian, only one other weekend in my life beat this one, but again, another story for another time. Well anyways gotta go kids, till next time see you on the flip side.

Rolling with My Role Model

Another day another blog post, time to go with my role model, In my eyes one does not simply have one role model we have multiple because everyone has different people have different..........lets go with abilities....yeah that sounds good. I have a role model for the three biggest aspects of my life at the moment music, knowledge, and humanitarianism, but for now I will tell you only one.

Humanitarianism: Oskar Schindler, I don't know if you have heard of this man, but he is one I looked up to from the first time I saw his story. He was a German industrialist who employed jews during WW2 and saved 1,200 from the horrors of the Holocaust. You may know this because of the movie made by Steven Spielberg named "Schindlers's List" one of the greatest movies I have every seen. It has so far been the only movie to ever make me cry because of the ending scene where Schindler played by Liam Neeson breaks into tears saying he could have done more, he goes over all of the things he still own, and questions why he kept it, and that he should have sold it. To this day the scene still puts me into tears. I look up to him because of what he did for the jews, how much he cared for them, and after I learned his story I promised myself that I would always look after people and if they were sad help them, care for them, make sure that they are ok etc. a close second to Mr. Schindler is Chiune Sugihara a Japanese diplomat who gave 6,000 jews visas. But one quote rang throughout my head when I think of the movie "Whoever saves one life saves the world entire."

That man you see above is why I care so much about people, why I try so much to help those who need it, and never want to see people sad, he is who I have based my morals on. This was a real enjoy to write, I enjoy writing about this, I was not looking forward to this, but now I had a change of faith.
Till next time see you on the flip side.

10 Instant Happies

10 Things that make me happy, that's a list that could be filled with a number of things just depends on how I am feeling that day,it could range from me watching a video on YouTube to hearing a joke about a person.Could go from being something really dark and pretty different........ hehehe just kidding......maybe, or it could just be seeing someone I know or talking with friends. Anyways let me stop rambling and let us get to the TOP 10 INSTANT HAPPIES!!!!!!

1. You ever hear that one song that you just can jam out to in any situation and can go from any mood like mad or sad to happy in an instant? I have one song for that, I have song for that its called "Juice" by Chance the Rapper it just gets me into that mood where I can't think about anything except that I am listening to a great song by a fantastic musician.

2. Another instant happy that I have is every time the University of Southern California wins a football game, just knowing that the team that I love came out victorious puts me in a mood were I feel near invincible. The only greater feeling is when you are at the game surrounded by thousands of fans who share he same passion for the team you do

3.Getting that text message out of no where from someone you haven't talked to in along time, that's a great feeling, because you have stories to tell them and it reminds you of old memories that you have with that person.

4. The one thing better than getting a text from someone is when your friend asks you to call them, it brings something that texts just can't do you can crack jokes and laugh together and it just makes everything better when you are able to take over the phone.

5. When I get to see my family after a long period of time is always fun, because we get to do things together, hang out, go out to the mall, eat, etc. I love to see my family because even though my little cousins can be seen as little monsters they make me laugh with every crazy and delirious thing they do.

6. Given the opportunity to be given free money, cash, dough, dolla dolla bills, stacks, benjamins, etc. I think everyone instantly gets happy. To me though I feel that when I do something manual labor wise, I think that is more of an instant happy then getting the money for no reason at all.

7. Maybe I'm just used to it, but you already know that when I get an A on an assignment it gives me that little feeling of relief that I did something right, and that my effort was not overlooked.

8. Maybe its just me but if I see a pair of sneakers that I like and can drop my jaw, that gives me a feeling of joy, or when better yet I am able to buy those sneakers so I can wear them. I mean when one loves sneakers like I do you can tell the good shoes from the knock your socks off shoes.

9.  Relaxation is always a good one, I like doing that listening to some music laying down, watching TV, etc. it all brings a sense of instant happiness to me when I do those things.

10. Finally I know it may sound cliche, but deal with it because this is my blog so deal with it or go somewhere else, anyways just making someone else's day or week. It makes me feel great because I know that they are happy and know that I care for them and want them to be happy.

So now that you've made it here you have read this entire blog post hopefully, or you just scrolled down and saw this little note. Alright well see ya on the flip side.

Currently

And who would've thought I'd be starting a blog today..... Never been interested into the blogging scene, But ya know I don't give assignments, I just accomplish them. If you're expecting some ground breaking, hard hitting, heavy stuff. then you came to the wrong place, so make your way toward the door now. now let's get tooooooo it. But first, if you've made it this far congratulations you have wasted two minutes reading my intro!!!!!

Currently Watching/ I am currently watching Luke Cage, The show has been out for around a month ago, and I have so far been hooked to the series. It is interesting to see the real world application of problems into the series, such as police violence against African Americans, the corporate greed, political corruption, etc. I really like watching it because it is a superhero that a lot of people can connect with in many aspects, because in reality he just is a normal guy with a few changes of his abilities. If you watch the show though I do recommend that you watch it by yourself or with someone who is comfortable with hearing derogatory terms directed toward African Americans, this is because the series tries to focus on prejudice and racism in America. Ok look overall in my recommendation the show is AMAZING, I sound like a boring dude but in reality this show should be on your must watch list, like go right now start, leave this page now. GO!!

Currently listening/ I am currently listening to a lot of Johnny Cash and "The Wanderer" by Dion DiMucci, I have always had an appreciation for Johnny Cash in this case it just so happened that I have really been hooked on his music. I am a huge fan of "Rusty Cage" and "Walk The Line" by Cash and in my opinion are two of his best songs, you can listen to them on any occasion no matter what mood you are in. I have never really been interested in possibly ever playing the guitar until last week when I had started to listen to Cash a lot, but if I had to play any songs on the guitar I can guarantee that I would only learn Johnny Cash songs. As for listening to "The Wanderer" by Dion it has made its way back into my listening circle because I am a fan of the 1940s and 50s so when listening to the song it reminds me of that time period. If you like music not just one genre and you don't know who Johnny Cash is then I want you to go look up every song by him, become a now life for a day and understand the true genius you have been listening. While you're there look up "The Wanderer" take along walk think about life with a smile on your face, and keep on keeping on.

Currently Thinking Well its hard to explain what I am thinking right now, it's hard to take into account all the thoughts that run through my head at every moment. I over think everything I do and sometimes by doing it I think of the best outcomes and the worst and next thing I know I am fearing decisions that I make. I am also currently thinking about my family and my education, I'm leaving tomorrow well I am typing this at 12:47AM so today, but I am going across the country.....and its not for a vacation. I won't get into much detail of course, but I was told one word three months ago that shook me to the core.......Cancer.
